Mr. Andrew Chan pursued his early studies at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. After graduation, he worked in the financial sector before venturing into international and domestic trade in China in 1987. His business portfolio includes new left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles, new automotive parts, telecommunications product distribution, and machinery equipment. In addition, he has actively participated in financial investments, including investing in A00 electric vehicle manufacturing plants. With over 30 years of extensive experience and a well-established trade network, Mr. Chan has particularly excelled in the automotive sector.
Throughout his career, Mr. Chan has held several key positions in Hong Kong and Mainland China’s automotive and business associations, including:

Since 1987, he has been involved in automobile trade, initially sourcing used right-hand drive vehicles and new left-hand drive Toyota and Nissan vehicles from Japan, re-exporting them via Hong Kong to Mainland China.
From 1989 to 2000, he obtained authorized procurement rights from Toyota Hong Kong to supply new left-hand drive Toyota vehicles to China.
Since 1992, he has expanded his trade network to Southeast Asia, exporting new Japanese-brand vehicles and Mercedes-Benz models from Japan, the UK, and Hong Kong to markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
In 2003, he invested in authorized brand 4S dealerships in China, covering retail, after-sales services, financial services, marketing, and insurance. His dealership portfolio includes Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Renault, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and McLaren.
Since 2022, Mr. Chan has been exporting multiple automotive brands from Mainland China to Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. These brands include Toyota (Japan), Kia (South Korea), Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Geely, Changan, Skyworth, and BYD.
Mr. Chan has been frequently invited to represent the automotive industry at major government forums, where he delivers keynote speeches and shares insights on global trade trends and market strategies.
